Gardens: Depending on the time of year you can wander through the house garden full of roses and dahlias.
Olive Grove: Olive picking occurs in June and pressing commences usually on Kings Birthday Weekend. Also a lovely spot for a picnic in summer in the shade of the trees.
Wetlands: A creek runs through the property and numerous wetland areas and ponds are there to wander around. Some areas have boardwalks over wet areas. We are in the process of regenerating native plantings around these precious springs and enjoying the birdlife that has come back into the region since we have planted.
Animals: Meet EJ our friendly Springer Spaniel or Nellie and Hunter our gorgeous Burman cats who loves a good pat! We have sheep that love to be hand fed, and if you are lucky enough you may be here to witness sheep shearing or lambing! There is a variety of bird life on the property, ranging from chickens and guinea fowl to wild quail, ducks, pukeko, fantails, tuis, white eyes and much more!
