The apartment is such a lovely place which is conveniently located to travel around the area. The house and environment is outstanding, and equally if not more so are the hosts, who made our group feel so at home. The animals around are really friendly and adorable, definitely another huge plus for us.
Couldn’t recommend this place more! The view is really something else! The cottage itself is absolutely stunning, and the view from the windows/patio outside will take your breathe away - vineyards through to mountains. It’s so lovely with the animals around also, the place has endless character. We loved the homey vibe of the cottage. Renwick itself is a fantastic location to dot about all the vineyards, from those with renowned brands to the smaller boutique names. Angela was a great host - good communication, super lovely and relaxed with check in/check out, set the place up really nicely for our arrival!
The Cedar Barn is absolutely beautiful and the setting is so lovely. All you can see for miles are vineyards and you are within minutes of some of NZ’s top wineries. In addition to the beautiful location, the barn is beautifully decorated, spacious and so comfortable. We loved interacting with the farm animals in the backyard. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re visiting Blenheim/Renwick! Angela is a wonderful and personable host who will make you feel right at home.
The Cedar Barn is a fantastic place to stay and in a magical location. Angela is a great host and had the barn looking perfect for our arrival. Very generous with breakfast provisions plus a host of other pantry items and treats! Picturesque surroundings in the countryside but still close to all the vineyards and tourist attractions in the area. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it as a great place to escape to!
This barn is absolutely stunning. It’s bright, clean, stylish and has everything you need including thoughtful breakfast items. I have never stayed somewhere with such gorgeous views from every direction. The property is lovely to walk around, including plenty of grape vines, and a little paddock of farm animals. I could have spent my entire holiday. Angela and her family were very welcoming, it was wonderful to have a chat and get to know them. Highly, highly recommend.
Do yourself a favor and stay here while in Marlborough! It is the most charming place, complete with friendly sheep! Word and pictures do not do it justice. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets included too! Angela is the best hostess and made sure we had farm fresh eggs, milk, and bread, along with all the jams! We can’t recommend it enough!
